Upgrading to a 1500 - an update

GWRRA Message Board Archives: august2001: Upgrading to a 1500 - an update
By RB on Monday, July 30, 2001 - 10:01 am:

Hello and thanks to all that replied to my post earlier last week about my questions around upgrading from a GL1200 to a 1500. I appreciated the effort that you all put into the responses and they did help me make up my mind.

The bottom line is that I did indeed upgrade to a red 1998 GL1500SE. So far I am just thrilled with the bike, it is exceeding my expectations.

Just wanted to let you all know.

Thanks again!
RB :O

So, what are you going to do with your previous manual reverse (your girlfriend/friend/wife)? lol

My wife loves not having to get off the motorcycle on those rare occasions when I messed up and couldn't get out of some place without help by having someone push the motorcycle backwards.

I had an 85 Aspy and last year bought a brand new 98 Aspy. I wish I could have kept both, but had to sell the 85. Oh WELL....... I love my little red baby!
