I am looking to purchase a new windshild for a 95 Aspencade, I have heard that the Tulsa is a good replacment, I am 6'3" and with the stock windshild I'm looking about two inches over the windshild. Sunday my wife and I got caugth in a heavy rain we both got soaked. The problem with the stock windshild, the rain was hitting me in the face, will the two to three inches help and I understand that the Tulsa in about a inch wider. We both injoyed the ride even in the rain. Is there any other Windshild someone would recommend. What about tinted verses clear, we do ride some at night, and vented or not.

I am 6"2" and have the Tulsa Extra Tall and it works very good for keeping the rain out of your face. I have put silver edging (car door edging) on it to keep the water from running over the top and down inside.

The Tulsa would be a great choice. If you want the tint it is light so it shouldn't bother you at night.

Michael,
I've had the tulsa for about a year and love the way it made a difference in the rain and wind, especially on the interstate. My only complaint is that the vent has never worked well and has come apart once and discolored somewhat. If I had it to do all over, I'd get it without the vent and save some money. When you need the vent, it's just hot air coming through, anyway. I think you'll be well satisfied in the long run.

Michael, I have had a tinted Tulsa with vent for a year or so. Initially I wasn't sure I liked it for the simple reason I frequently bumped my head when mounting due to the windshield's severe slant as opposed to my old after market which stood somewhat straight up. Once I got used to the Tulsa being closer to my eyes and learning how to mount, things got better. I now like the windshield and it provides a lot of protection from wind and rain. My wife likes it also. She states she get more protection from the elements.
My old after market windshield had no vent. I have enjoyed the vent in my Tulsa. Sometimes even hot air feels good blowing on my face and chest. The tint is fine and really isn't noticeable at night. Bottom line.....I think you will like the Tulsa.
I like Dale's idea of silver edging around the wind shield. Water does indeed like to roll over the top and down the backside. I will have to give it a try...Jim in Greensboro, NC

You might want to look at Custom Touring Windshield. He has several styles available. I got the one 6" taller than stock but still slants back at the same angle. It is lexan and you can get tinted or clear. His number is 863-665-6719. We have been very pleased with ours.

Mike, if you decide on the Tulsa, Get the tinted, this reduces oncoming headlight glare at night without losing any visible light. The tinted was a big concern with me also, Allen at Tulsa recommended the tint, so I tried it and was not sorry. Also would recommend the vent. Tulsa did have a problem with the vent coming lose form the front piece. Allen told me to take it apart and elongate the two screw holes and this would fix it. Did so and it still works when I remember which direction to open the vent while riding. Made a big difference in comfort for the wife on the wind pulling on her helmet. In a head on rain condition I dont put rain gear on and do well. Wife does need jacket. Rain will come over the top of windshield and drop onto the dash. Talked to Allen about this and he said that putting the chrome strip around the shield, only helps in about 50 percent of the cases juding from rider feedback. All the riders I have talked to say it works, havent tried it yet, because i think its so ugly to do this. Have thought about buying waste plastic from Allen and gluing it across the top to see if it works and would still look good. Still bump flipup face shield and windshield now and then. Would buy Tulsa again. Raised crusing speed on country road from 52 to 65 mph.
